The President said that this Wednesday a broader review of the planned investments will take place and alternatives will be analyzed to finance the works without resorting to debt.

The goal, she indicated, is to avoid financial pressures and guarantee federal support for the millions of inhabitants of the Guadalajara metropolitan area.

Sheinbaum emphasized that the work will be carried out in coordination with the Jalisco government to move forward on the actions needed to meet the region’s water supply needs.

The details of the projects and the distribution of the resources will be reviewed during the scheduled meetings between the authorities, as part of the actions to confront the water crisis in the state.
