A top official from the Biden administration has said that he is supportive of President Donald Trump’s attack on Iran from June of last year and suggested that Joe Biden may have done the same if he had been elected to a second term in office. Amos Hochstein, senior energy adviser to Biden within the State Department, said that the Biden administration had modeled similar scenarios to last…

Not true. The inteligence during Obama , biden, the first and second trump that they are not building nukes. According to Netenyahu iran was two weeks away from nukes for 30 goddamn year, why iran still not have them?

They have been purifying Uranium. They have not done the last stage when it becomes weapons grade. And that’s because they know they’d then get bombed. The West doesn’t know exactly what they’re doing in their nuclear development bunkers so Iran could start developing an actual bomb and it wouldn’t take very long; they know what to do - hence the ‘two week’ claim, which is an exaggeration at best and often a complete fabrication at the time, but not totally implausible. Obama made a deal for them not to make the bomb, because he knew they could, not that they had already done so. After the last bombing of their bunkers by trump which were by most accounts fairly ineffective, who knows if they actually started purifying to weapons grade? Honestly why wouldn’t they if they were going to get bombed regardless. If they could pull off a nuke test and claim believably that they had more nuke rockets ready to go, the U.S. would have to leave them alone. Of course, I wouldn’t believe anything trump, the U.S. government or Isreal says about it.

        They have been purifying Uranium.

Purifying and enriching uranium does not automatically mean building nuclear weapons. There was no evidence that Iran was working on building nukes

They have not done the last stage when it becomes weapons grade. And that’s because they know they’d then get bombed.

If they are afraid to get bombed for building nukes then htey will never build one. Now that they are bombed why are they not building it?

he West doesn’t know exactly what they’re doing in their nuclear development bunkers so Iran could start developing an actual bomb and it wouldn’t take very long

Confirming again that there is no evidence.

After the last bombing of their bunkers by trump which were by most accounts fairly ineffective, who knows if they actually started purifying to weapons grade?

The American intelligence that contradicted Trump

Honestly why wouldn’t they if they were going to get bombed regardless.

Because Ali Khamenei though that building nukes in a sin . You can’t say Iran is a theocracy and at the same time say they do not take their religious decree seriously . At the end of the deay you have no evidence that now that they are bombed , they are planing to build nukes

I wouldn’t believe anything trump, the U.S. government or Isreal says about it.

All your comments proved otherwise . You have not provided a single evidence just delusional doubts

The article prove my point. Iran was not trying to build nukes post 2003. That the enrichment to 60% was a negotiation tool, if they wanted to build a nuke they would have done it. There is zero evidence that after the assassination of Ali Khamenei , Iran is changing it’s position against nukes.

The enrichment to 60% was a threat that they could and would build a bomb if they didn’t get what they wanted - and I’m not saying they shouldn’t have done that - but you can’t have it both ways - they could have made a bomb in short order if they wanted. So then it comes down to trust, and there’s very little of that. I’d love to be able to trust everyone and trust that Iran wouldn’t bomb anyone else. But we know they are willing to fire missiles at Isreal, and they have a real grievance. So I can see why taking the risk could be considered unacceptable. Of course, Obama’s diplomatic approach was much much better than the orange moron’s isreali-led disaster.

The enrichment to 60% was a threat that they could and would build a bomb if they didn’t get what they wanted They are not getting what they want now. Tell me after how many months or years you would believe that Iran is not building nukes

I’d love to be able to trust everyone and trust that Iran wouldn’t bomb anyone else.

You don’t have to trust them but you have no evidence that they are seeking nukes now . You can’t trust ebven more israel a colonial state who is genociding palestinians and want to extend it’s border to even more countries

But we know they are willing to fire missiles at Isreal, and they have a real grievance

Yes they are willing to fire missiles at a colonial state who is a threat to the whole region including them

Exactly. I can totally see them wanting nukes. And if they had nukes they’d use them to ward off attacks with threats. But if Isreal called their bluff, or some religious nut decided it was time, we could end up with a nuclear exchange. I have no evidence - how could I? - but it’s common sense.

It is not common sense to say Iran is weeks away from building nukes if they want yet decades after Netenyahu claims there is still no evidence that they are willing to build one even after the usa and israel attacked them and killed their “supreme leader” .

You are simply creating an eternal threat that will never happen
