DISGRACED Downing Street supremo Morgan McSweeney is at the centre of a fresh scandal as it emerged he reported his mobile phone stolen last October.The alleged theft means that key messages between PM Sir Keir Starmer’s then-chief of staff and Lord Mandelson over the latter’s appointment as US ambassador may not be made public.Sir Keir has committed to releasing all such communications but it is unclear that relevant communications from Mr McSweeney had been backed up or otherwise retained.
