PEACE campaigners held white poppy wreath-laying ceremonies for Remembrance Sunday today.
White wreaths, which are distributed by the Peace Pledge Union to remember all victims of war, were laid alongside the red versions by the Royal British Legion at civic ceremonies across the country.
In Wakefield, miners who died underground during both world wars were also commemorated at a remembrance service at Lofthouse Gate Pit Wheel.
