After the strengthening of its international relations in the last decade, the rector of the institution, Julio Cesar Madera, reported that the house of higher studies has raised more than 140 thousand dollars for this concept, primarily through links with institutions in the Dominican Republic and Mexico, an activity that seeks to diversify income and expand opportunities for academic cooperation.

This strategy is complemented by the strengthening of international relations with countries such as Spain, Belgium, Russia, China and Brazil, among others, through joint projects, scientific exchanges and undergraduate and postgraduate training programs.

At a press conference the director stressed that these partnerships allow to expand the research and teaching capacities of the University, while favoring the transfer of knowledge and experiences in strategic sectors such as renewable energies, artificial intelligence and sustainable food production.

At the same time, the institution strengthens its articulation with the government and other economic and social actors of the territory, aimed at putting the scientific and professional capabilities of academy at the service of local development.

Upgrading curricula and diversifying academic services are part of this projection, which is geared both to domestic demands and to the opportunities offered by collaboration with foreign institutions.
