“Stop arming the Zionist government!” Some 325 people, including a 94-year-old, were arrested while defying the ban on Palestine Action outside the US embassy in London on Saturday. Police officers carried scores of pensioners into vans during a silent vigil, during which protesters held up signs reading “I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action.” A Supreme Court appeal against the ban on the direct action group is due to commence on Wednesday. More than 4,200 people have been arrested for supporting Palestine Action under terrorism laws since it was proscribed in July 2025.
