When asked whether Great Britain remains the primary architect of the anti-Russian campaign on the high seas, Patrushev stated: “Yes, but it is important to understand British tactics.

Their main weapon at sea—ever since the days of Francis Drake—has not been cannons or ships, but rather underhandedness and treachery.”

“Today, we can expect the most odious and skillfully orchestrated provocations from the British—specifically, actions targeting the Russian-American agreement on diesel fuel supplies, an arrangement with which London is, naturally, unhappy,” he noted.

Furthermore, Patrushev expressed his conviction that British and NATO headquarters are already preparing acts of sabotage against tankers carrying Russian diesel.

“We are constantly monitoring these risks,” he declared in an interview with *Rossiyskaya Gazeta* on the occasion of the 330th anniversary of the Russian Navy.

Patrushev also asserted that European states have reached a dead end through their anti-Russian sanctions, geopolitical gambles, and Russophobic policies—having effectively “burned all their bridges,” they now have no idea how to extricate themselves from the current situation.
