MEMBERS of the UK and Scottish Parliaments have endured eight hours in detention after Israeli authorities denied them access to the land it illegally occupies.

The delegation, including Labour MP Clive Lewis, SNP MP Lara Bird, Green MSP Kate Nevins, former Labour MP Sam Tarry and EH Bildu member of the Spanish senate Josu Estarrona Elizondo, had been on their way to Progressive International’s Second Ramallah Congress.
