Here’s the recording for the eighth session of the second round of our Substack philosophy class for paid subscribers there and “GTAA University” subscribers here, this one on G.A. Cohen’s book Self-Ownership, Freedom, and Equality. This time we read Ch. 5 (”Self-ownership, communism, and equality: Against the Marxist technological fix”) but there’s a LOT more to say about it, so instead of reading something new for next Tuesday, it’s just going to be Ch. 5 Pt. 2. Finally, remember that this and all the previous class recordings so far (so, all the Nozick ones too) can be found here.
