Araghchi responded on X to Netanyahu’s recent statements, affirming that the latter is seeking to provoke another conflict without considering the consequences for Israel or the US president.

The Iranian foreign minister stated that his country emerged strengthened from previous attacks on its territory, which were intended to destroy it.

Araghchi said, addressing the Israeli side, “Want to try luck again? Go ahead. But be careful; we have unfinished business too.”

The Times of Israel reported that Netanyahu addressed the possibility of toppling the Iranian Government while presenting his security doctrine on Sunday, and described the October 27 elections as essential.

The Israeli prime minister noted that the deterioration of Iran’s economy is increasing social pressure and could potentially trigger new protests.

Tensions between the two nations also extend to navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, a strategic maritime route for international trade and the global supply of energy and raw materials.
