Folks,

Last night while eating dinner, I began hearing pots and pans being banged all over Rio de Janeiro. Brazilians were banging pots and pans to protest the lies of Flavio Bolsonaro during his appearance on Globo TV infront of tens of millions of viewers.

The pot banging was organized by the 5 million strong WhatsApp group Lula’s Army run by Congressman André Janones. The pot and banging was a demonstration of the collective power of the movement as all over Brazil people heard banging (check out video above)

I’ve been in a lot of labor fights in my day, but never seen on as impressive as the one here in Brasil. Lula has tied things up in the polls here and used the momentum to achieve a 40-year goal; shortening the Brazilian workweek from 6 days to 5 days.

Its a hell of a fightback, but things like Meta are preventing many Americans from hearing about. So, we need folks to donate so that we can keep covering this incredible fight.
