I have a question, maybe it’s silly. If so, I apologise in advance.

But why would vegans not eat bee-honey? The article talks about the decline of honeybees. But if there’d be more beekeepers we could safeguard more honeybees. It’s possible to keep bees without harming them, even cooperating and protecting them and creating ecological benefits in the proces.

So what’s wrong with bee-honey? Sugar derived honey seems more harmful to the environment (and bees) as the production of sugar depends on (mono)culture crops?
