“Down with Yankee imperialism!” Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel remains defiant against the US blockade, vowing that the country “will not surrender and will prevail” despite economic pressure. The message was delivered on Thursday to the 30th International Seminar “Political Parties and a New Society," hosted by the Mexican Labor Party. The forum convened progressive political parties, leaders, and social movements from across Latin America and the Caribbean.
