PRESTWICK AIRPORT in Ayrshire will see a £57 million investment package in aircraft maintenance, creating 150 new jobs over the next five years.

GE Aerospace announced a £30m plan to expand and modernise its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) operations, an investment the firm’s site leader Andy Prow said reflected “commitment to our customers and to the future of our Prestwick site.”
