THE US government is investigating whether the White House television press pool broke anti-monopolies law when it paused coverage of Donald Trump last month, the Department of Justice (DoJ) announced on Saturday.
DoJ spokeswoman Emily Covington said that group boycotts among business competitors might violate US anti-trust laws, saying the department was “simply investigating” whether the Sherman Act had been breached.
