TORY leader Kemi Badenoch’s 100-page flagship party conference policy document overstates the cost of net zero by nearly £500 billion, it emerged today.The error in The Right Way was spotted by Carbon Brief and appears to stem from someone accidentally double-counting figures on a spreadsheet.In its forward, Ms Badenoch says that “as an engineer” she is used to correctly diagnosing issues and the document says it is intended to be a precise diagnosis of Britain’s problems.
