Robots should look and sound like robots. There is no benefit to allowing AI to appear human, and companies will exploit the confusion to demand “AI rights,” further cementing their oligarchical control.

Ban Lifelike AI Immediately

Three pieces of news came out in the last week that, taken together, demonstrate the immediate need for U.S. lawmakers, both state and federal, to get their act together and prohibit companies from releasing AI products that can be confused with human beings.
