The supplies included Su-57 and Su-35S aircraft; T-90M, T-80VM and T-72B3M tanks; air defense systems and armored vehicles; and different types of drones and robots.

Sanchik stressed that the Defense Ministry maintains close coordination with the country’s military industry so that troops’ most urgent needs for modern weaponry are met.

Recently, the Russian government presented a budget for the next three years that provides for military spending of about US$600 billion.

In 2027, the amount allocated to defense and security will increase by one-third from the previous year and will account for 44% of the budgeted funds.

A few days ago, Russia announced that its armed forces would intensify attacks against military targets in Kiev and other regions. This comes in response to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s announcement that he ordered an increase in attacks against Russian refineries.

On Tuesday, while Moscow attacked the Northern Bridge in Kiev for the umpteenth time, Ukraine killed two civilians in attacks on the Moscow region.

Last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Ukrainians now control only 11% of the Donetsk region and that the Russian army has liberated more than 1,300 square kilometers of territory since last month.

Nevertheless, military analysts believe Russia will have to fight at least until the end of 2027 to achieve the full liberation of all of Donbas and the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
