Country musician Zach Bryan defied ultra-Zionist billionaire Robert Kraft for his concert last Friday.

Singer Ed Sheeran had shamed himself by caving to Kraft and sacking rapper Macklemore for showing solidarity with Palestine.

Kraft had said he wouldn’t allow Sheeran to play at his Gillette stadium if Macklemore stayed — but even after Sheeran’s spinelessness, the concerts were cancelled anyway.

Bryan wore his support for Palestine regardless with a ‘Free Palestine’ t-shirt during his With Heaven On Tour shows. In calling Kraft’s bluff, they smashed the stadium’s attendance record previously held by Sheeran.

Zach Bryan did what we hoped Ed Sheeran would

Bryan and his band were due to play a second show at the Gillette last Saturday, so their defiance in the first show challenged Kraft to cancel the second. He didn’t. This climbdown again exposed Sheeran’s cowardice.

To add insult to injury, the second concert set the stadium’s highest-ever crowd, beating Sheeran’s woeful 2023 record.

As Skwawkbox noted at the time, any stadium booking contract would include penalties for the venue if it was cancelled. Ed Sheeran could have gone ahead with his gig and the friend-of-genocide billionaire would have lost both face and cash if he followed through on his threat.

Zach Bryan just demonstrated that Kraft would have favoured his pocket and has shamed Sheeran even more deeply.
