Andrew Feinstein mid-flow of a conversation. This is not a photograph from the 2026 Green Party conference.

Andrew Feinstein has given the Green Party an example of how to handle the media and political establishment’s inevitable backlash against the party’s ‘Zionism is racism‘ motion.

The motion passed convincingly yesterday despite Israel lobby wrecking tactics, along with an overwhelming vote for the party to boycott Israel.

Green Party motion gets activist’s backing

Feinstein, who was a panelist at the Green Party conference for a discussion on Palestine, was asked by Turn Left Media whether Zionism is racism. His answer was a model for all to follow: “Of course it is.”

Feinstein was speaking before the vote but the lesson applies just as much after it. There were no apologies and no pandering to the pretend hurt feelings of friends of genocide.

Of course, Zionism is racism. The reason the political-media complex fear it so much is that they know the informed and honest will always agree. And the less informed will instinctively know, after three years of live-streamed genocide, that it’s true.

Feinstein wasn’t done there. In an X post responding to the passage of the racism resolution, referring to South African anti-apartheid heroes he knew personally, he schooled those who pander to the antisemitic lie that all Jews support Israel’s apartheid:

The Greens have an anti-Zionist leader & believe Zionism is racism. They have the support of many anti & non-Zionist Jews, who constitute 1/3 of British Jewry.

Anti-Zionism is a Jewish ideology, developed by Jews, which suggests that Jewish & global safety & security is best served by diverse, vibrant Jewish communities across the world rather than by an ethno-nationalist, racist Jewish state.

And if you doubt Israel is a racist apartheid state, remind yourself that it & apartheid SA are the only countries identified as such by the world’s highest court. And that Archbishop Desmond Tutu & Nelson Mandela believed that Israeli apartheid was more brutal than South Africa’s.

Green Party MPs, to their shame, spoke and voted against the motion. It passed anyway. Now, if they have any respect for their own party’s members and democracy, they and their party leader will take a big leaf from Feinstein’s book and put the friends of genocide, their mates in politics and the media in their place.
