THE SNP has called on Prime Minister Andy Burnham to deliver on the £200 million promised to an industrial cluster in the Falkirk area.
Local SNP MSP Martyn Day claims “not a penny” of the cash pledged in the wake of last year’s closure of the Grangemouth oil refinery has yet been spent.
His remarks come after the region was dealt another body blow last week with the announcement of Syngenta’s plans to close its Grangemouth chemical plant, putting 377 jobs in jeopardy.
