THE Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has been asked to consider manslaughter charges over the Grenfell Tower fire after a file of evidence was passed to prosecutors.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police confirmed they had passed files relating to 20 organisations and 54 individuals to the CPS, including the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.
