Marina Pilajeva, long-time member of the Central Committee of the Hungarian Workers’ Party (Munkáspárt) and for years responsible for its international relations, has passed away.
Pilajeva represented the party in numerous international meetings of communist and workers’ parties and maintained close relations with the international communist movement.
In 2017, she participated in the KKE’s internationalist event marking the centenary of the October Revolution, representing the Hungarian Workers’ Party.
Her death marks the loss of a committed communist militant who devoted many years to the cause of the Hungarian Workers’ Party and proletarian internationalism.
The Communist Party of Greece (KKE) also conveyed its condolences to the Hungarian Workers’ Party, expressing sympathy to her comrades and family and honoring her contribution to the communist movement.
