The government’s and media’s warmongering narrative about the supposed ‘terrorist’ (and likely ‘false-flag’) incident at the Fairford military base already collapsed in farce yesterday after the five men arrested were quickly granted bail. Now it is wallowing in ridicule: police have admitted that there were no explosives in the vans involved in the supposed ‘explosives incident’.

Fairford: terrorist what?

Counter-terror police said the vans contained “a quantity of petrol” but that, definitively:

We can confirm that no improvised explosive devices were found.

They added that they are already winding down the investigation at the scene and in London:

Since the arrests of five men on Sunday morning, our teams have been working quickly to investigate the circumstances surrounding the activity close to RAF Fairford. [We] want to thank the people of Whelford and those in the nearby area who have been impacted by the ongoing activity.

We are continuing to reduce the investigative scenes around RAF Fairford, and by tomorrow we anticipate we will have closed them down completely. This will be an important step towards restoring normality for the local community.

As part of the investigation, we have searched properties in London which I can confirm have concluded…

…Those vehicles have been subject to extensive examination, with the support of military assets and forensic experts, and we can confirm that no improvised explosive devices were found… Yesterday we released the five men on police bail. They remain under investigation and must adhere to strict conditions while we continue our work.

All those arrested are UK nationals, not the Iranians or Russians in a supposed ‘major incident’ that politicians, the police and the ‘mainstream’ press narrative pushed.

‘Surprise’

And the kicker:

I understand why this development will have come as a surprise to many, but I’d like to reiterate that it was investigative decision, and one which is grounded in experience and careful consideration of policing powers.

In other words, a local farmer appears to have stumbled on a petrol fraud in a period where US warmongering has caused prices to rocket. UK warmongers then tried to capitalise on the bizarre arrests to push for war and military spending in a ‘false-flag’ attribution.

It’s what warmongers do – and they must be relentlessly exposed.
