“We reaffirm our commitment to strengthening and expanding ties between our countries,” the Cuban Foreign Ministry wrote on its X account.

Havana established diplomatic relations with the Federated States of Micronesia during the 46th Pacific Islands Forum meeting, held in Papua New Guinea.

Both parties are exploring ways to develop bilateral cooperation and strengthen bonds of friendship, as well as to enhance coordination within international organizations on matters of mutual interest.
