“The executioners of Gaza, Iran, and Cuba cannot continue threatening, bombing, and plundering, and then boast of their crimes before the international community,” Diaz-Canel wrote.

The Cuban leader emphasized that when genocide is normalized, the door is opened to others, and thus, he added, “fascism re-emerges.”

In an earlier message on X, the head of state highlighted the address given by Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez during the High-Level Segment of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

“Our Foreign Minister reaffirms Cuba’s historic stance in defense of international law and the authority of the UN, and condemns the imperial attempt to destroy multilateralism,” Diaz-Canel noted.

In the same tweet, he quoted the Foreign Minister’s statement that “the law of the jungle cannot be the future of humanity.”
