Delcy Rodríguez marks 21st anniversary of Venezuela’s Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces

Acting President Delcy Rodríguez praised the armed forces’ role in safeguarding Venezuela’s security, sovereignty and constitutional order.

Acting Venezuelan President Delcy Rodríguez on Saturday marked the 21st anniversary of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB), praising military personnel for their commitment to peace, national sovereignty and their constitutional duties.

In a message published on her digital platforms on September 26, Delcy Rodríguez highlighted the CEOFANB’s strategic role in protecting the country and its constitutional guarantees.

She said military forces remain deployed across Venezuela to safeguard the population’s well-being and political stability, while carrying out their duties according to the historical and patriotic principles of the Bolivarian ideal.

Acting President also recognized the discipline displayed by military personnel in fulfilling their constitutional responsibilities, including their deployment following the twin earthquakes that struck the country on June 24.

The anniversary highlighted the coordination between the national executive and the military institution in addressing threats to Venezuela’s security, according to the statement. The CEOFANB reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining permanent surveillance of the country’s territorial borders and strategic areas.

Delcy Rodríguez concluded her message by paying tribute to members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces who regard defending the country as a lifelong vocation. The anniversary was framed as part of efforts to strengthen civil-military unity in support of peace and national independence.
