My co-author Mike Beggs and I are doing two Blueprint events a week from today (Saturday, October 3rd). Our third co-author Bhaskar Sunkara is going to be out of the picture for everything except the New York event a few days before that, with the excellent excuse that he has a month-old baby at home.
Next Saturday, though:
At St. Johns College in Annapolis, Mike and I will be doing an event with Jasper Thomas where he’ll interview us about the book and some broader related topics. That’s going to be at the Mellon Conversation Room (if you know the campus, I guess, you know where that is?) at a 11 AM. (Oh, and for anyone reading this who’s in my Capital Vol. 1 class, we will be having class next Saturday. They reserved a study room for me to do it at the usual time right after our event, though we’ll only be able to do class for an hour.) And then at 6 PM, we’ll be doing a bookstore event with Daniel Tutt at the Busboys and Poets on 450 K in Washington, D.C. You can RSVP for that one here. That one’s probably going to be a lot more traditionally book-talk-ish. Both events are free and open to the public, but we did put in a $5 suggested donation for the Busboys and Poets to help cover the room fee. (Please don’t not come because you don’t have the $5, though!) Finally, here’s the updated tour poster for the rest of the two-week mini-book tour:
Looks like all the spots have been reserved already for the NYC one, but for LA you can still reserve a spot here. (By the way, if you’re going to that one, note that there are a couple of unrelated places called “In the Meantime” that will probably come up when you try to get directions on your phone. Much better to just use the address: 512 N. Hoover Street.) Hope to see a bunch of you IRL at one or another of these!
