CHELSEA have been charged by the Football Association after discriminatory chanting was reported during their Premier League game away at Fulham in August.

Following the team’s 3-2 win over their west London rivals on the season’s opening weekend, the club issued a statement to their fans warning them against “sectarian chanting.”

Victory at Craven Cottage came courtesy of goals from Joao Pedro, Morgan Rogers and Cole Palmer but the club have now been charged with failing to ensure the good behaviour of their supporters.
