A new Dispatches programme tonight on Channel 4 exposes the depth and breadth of what the UK government knew and knows about Israel’s crimes in Gaza.

Among other things, its trailer suggests that the programme has evidence of the Foreign Office’s explicit knowledge of Israel’s genocide and war crimes when the government authorised an increase in arms export licences:

The Labour government put a token and misleading stop to just 8% of UK arms exports to Israel – but UK companies have been allowed to simply bypass the limitation. At the same time, it granted further export licences that raised arms sales to Israel to record levels – and explicitly refused to end the export of vital parts for the F-35 strike aircraft Israel uses to bomb civilians nightly.
Dispatches goes out at 11.05pm tonight, 24 September, and should continue to be available through Channel 4’s catch-up app.
