POLICE Scotland have made 36 arrests as part of their “biggest and most co-ordinated” operation to target human trafficking.Around 300 cops raided 47 properties across the country, including in Glasgow, Falkirk, and Dundee, as part of Operation Kendrew, discovering 14 cannabis farms and “a number of potential trafficking victims” in the process.The action focused on a gang run mainly by people from Vietnam and other south-east Asian countries alleged to be involved in human trafficking, drug cultivation, fraud, forced labour, immigration crime and money laundering.
