Labour right-winger and former Blair adviser, Paul Richards, wants peace activists jailed if they oppose the madness of a war with Russia.

Richards, a co-founder of Blairite pressure group ‘Progress’, apparently now likes to do away with the ‘red’ pretence and cosy up to the hard right. He told far-right GB News that UK warmongers “would have to lock up” anyone who dared dispute the pro-war narrative.

The pro-war narrative is a lie. Estonian intelligence services, who as a former part of the Soviet bloc know more about Russia than most, are more honest. In a 2026 report they confirm that the ‘Russian threat’ is just so much propaganda.

There is… no cause for panic. In the Estonian Foreign Intelligence Service’s assessment, Russia has no intention of militarily attacking Estonia or any other NATO member state in the coming year. We are likely to reach a similar assessment next year.

Blairite defends the indefensible

Despite watching — and helping — Ukraine lose 27,000 troops a month in the Russian war ‘meat-grinder’, UK and European governments are gagging to throw their own young into the blender. They and their media mates are busy manufacturing a supposed ‘threat’ from Russia in an attempt to justify such madness.

But Richards is an old hand at defending the indefensible. As well as helping the war criminal Blair government, he was a vocal defender of Labour-right hardliner Ian McKenzie when McKenzie posted about raping and beheading then-shadow foreign secretary, Emily Thornberry. So passionately, in fact, that he cast McKenzie as a martyr ‘dissident’ when the Labour party suspended him for his grotesqueness.

UK and European elites are eager to start a war with Russia. They are already providing weapons that are killing Russian civilians to shore up their collapsing power base. Poison drones like Richards see no problem in imprisoning dissenters to ‘protect’ so-called ‘British values’. It’s obvious who really belongs in prison.
