At the UN General Assembly, Andy Burnham also stated the "threats" don't "justify the Israeli government’s actions in Gaza or the West Bank".

In February, Israel and the US launched their second, unprovoked attack on Iran in eight months, murdering Iranian schoolgirls and the country’s leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. But Israel is ‘always the victim’ — and new UK Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, clearly agrees.

Burnham has given a speech in which he tried to continue his token resistance to Israel’s theft of yet more Palestinian land. However, he couldn’t resist promising to “stand with Israel”. And, since he’s just offered RAF bases to Saudi Arabia to attack Iran’s allies in Yemen, he couldn’t resist claiming that poor little Israel is ‘threatened’ by Iran.

Burnham may have more personality than his awful predecessor, but he is run by the same people. Evidently, he has no intention of anything more than superficial changes to the UK government’s collaboration in Israel’s and the US’ genocide, warmongering and crimes against humanity.
