Social movements, workers, young people, women and community groups are set to march in Caracas on Tuesday in support of acting Venezuelan President Delcy Rodríguez as she represents Venezuela at the United Nations General Assembly.

The rally is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. near the headquarters of Venezuela’s state telecommunications company CANTV on Avenida Libertador, organizers said. The call was issued by Nahum Fernández, vice president for Mobilization and Events of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).
Organizers said the demonstration is intended not only to support the Venezuelan delegation but also to convey what they described as a message of unity, peace and respect for the country’s sovereignty.

The official call said the mobilization would reaffirm Venezuela’s “Bolivarian” character through what it described as a demonstration of unity, loyalty and commitment to the country’s political process.
The rally coincides with Rodríguez’s diplomatic agenda in the United States. She has held meetings with UN Secretary-General António Guterres and international financial authorities, and recently met with U.S. President Donald Trump. Organizers described the latter meeting as a historic milestone in Venezuelan diplomacy.
