The U.S. president once again threatens the Persian nation during his address to the UN General Assembly.
On Tuesday, during the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), President Donald Trump announced that he will make a “big decision” about the U.S. war on Iran.

“Will a deal be made with Iran that lets them rebuild and create a far greater country than it ever was before, maybe one of the greatest in the Middle East or even the world?” he said.
“Or do I annihilate the Islamic Republic and do it quickly, never giving them a chance to kill and destroy people and countries again? Do I drive them into hell with no chance of survival and no hope of future greatness or generations?” Trump asked rhetorically.
The Republican leader believes there will be a peace deal after November because the Iranians “are waiting to see how Trump does” in the midterm elections.
He also claimed that the U.S. Navy has recently escorted more than 1 billion barrels of oil through the Strait of Hormuz, where “more oil is flowing than at any other time since the beginning of the war.”
Regarding the future of global geopolitics, the U.S. president reaffirmed his willingness to use force to advance his nation’s interests.
“The United States will no longer permit threats to America to gain a foothold anywhere in the Western Hemisphere. And if necessary, we will use our unmatched military might to secure the vital national interests of the United States,” he said, as reported by TASS.

The United States Through Trump’s Eyes
During his address to the UNGA, Trump offered an optimistic description of his country’s economic and political situation, seeking to highlight his alleged policy achievements.
He said the U.S. economy leads globally and asserted that his country is experiencing a historic period of prosperity that coincides with the celebration of the nation’s 250th anniversary of independence.
According to Trump, his administration has created more than 1 million private-sector jobs, reduced poverty to its lowest point in history, and raised the average household income to US$87,000.
The U.S. president also boasted that he had reduced the crime rate to its lowest level in 125 years and achieved absolute border control, with no illegal entries recorded over the past 16 months.
