EVERGREEN leg-spinner Adil Rashid has been ruled out of England’s one-day international series against Sri Lanka.

The ultra-reliable 38-year-old sustained an injury to his bowling hand when fielding at Old Trafford on Saturday as England clinched a 3-0 T20 series clean sweep of their Asian rivals.

England’s white-ball captain Harry Brook confirmed the double World Cup winner would miss the ODI series curtain-raiser at the Riverside Ground today.
