AIRLINES have demanded action after a second fault in air traffic control in a fortnight caused delays across Scotland, the six counties and northern England today.A National Air Traffic Services (Nats) spokesperson said the glitch was a “connectivity issue” at its Prestwick centre which was soon fixed, but not before hundreds of flights were delayed across the country.Already under pressure after a software error on September 8 led to more than 2,000 flights being cancelled, airlines have now called for an overhaul at Nats.
