ANDY BURNHAM and Ed Miliband have taken welcome steps towards sanctioning Israel over its genocidal attacks on the Palestinians of Gaza and its ethnic cleansing on the West Bank.

Miliband’s statement was a tribute, in large part, to the extraordinary mass movement of solidarity with the Palestinian people which has dominated Britain’s streets for nearly three years now.
