MONACO will stage two races in 2027 as Formula One bosses delivered next year’s 24-round calendar today, which they intend to start in Bahrain.
The schedule for next season is out later than planned due to the continued uncertainty in the Middle East because of the United States-Iran war.
However, F1 is hopeful of beginning the campaign in Bahrain on March 14, followed by a race in Saudi Arabia a week later.
Both races were pulled from this year’s schedule, although a “Bahrain Grand Prix” will be staged in Malaysia in October.

Just what we need, more racing at F1s most shit track. Sure Monaco has the history and prestige and does offer a challenge with the walls being close. And for F1 it’s very important because that’s where all the sponsors bring their customers, make the deals etc. But as a viewer it’s boring AF. No overtaking, slow speed and boring. We’ve seen people finish the race in first place with a broken car, because they couldn’t be overtaken. I would hardly call it racing really, it’s a quali and then hope you don’t fuck up (which at the current level they don’t) and the car doesn’t break or a badly timed red flag or something. Fucking terrible.
