MEN’S CRICKET: Captain Harry Brook smashed an unbeaten 114 as England eased to a 119-run victory over Sri Lanka in Tuesday evening’s first leg of their three-match Twenty20 series. Hampshire paceman Sonny Baker was the pick of the English bowling attack with 3-12. England are rated as the world’s second best short-format team, seven places above Sri Lanka. The second match takes place at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff this evening.
