Rodríguez stressed the historical commitment of new generations, asserting that national sovereignty demands constant effort against external aggression. “I call on you, combatant youth, fighting youth, to give the battle every day. The battle for Venezuela was not won just two centuries ago; the battle for Venezuela is fought every day, 24 hours a day, and there the socialist youth must be at the forefront,” she asserted.

The Acting President rejected the notion of viewing youth as mere future replacements. “We do not see you as the generational relay, because you are building today, in the present, building that future,” she said, underscoring that Simón Bolívar’s legacy is the fundamental political compass. “Without Bolívar, there is no direction; without Bolívar, we are lost in the horizon. Bolívar always guides us.”

Rodríguez warned about the dangers of digital alienation for youth. “The biggest challenge you will face as young people is to confront that technological revolution, so that this technological revolution does not deviate and become the gravest danger humanity could face,” she expressed, urging the militancy to guide the youth with consciousness to avoid getting lost in social media algorithms.

She also contrasted the socio-economic hardships and repression experienced during the Fourth Republic, urging the fight against any remnants of the bureaucratic and indifferent state.

Acting President Rodríguez announced that the Antonio José de Sucre International Leadership School will now depend on the Presidency of the Republic to strengthen ideological training. She also highlighted the contribution of productive youth in food planting and production.
