Singer Ed Sheeran has dropped rapper Macklemore from his US tour. The move comes after the Israel lobby’s baying for Macklemore’s removal. The US artist called for a “Free Palestine” during his set last week and performed his “Hind’s Hall” song as opener for the British singer.

The decision shames Sheeran, who had at first appeared ready to ignore pro-genocide mob, and has rightly been derided as cowardly:
