Authorities report drone and missile strikes on Ukrainian military positions and infrastructure.
On Monday, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that Russian drones struck the building of mobile phone operator Kyivstar and trains transporting military supplies for the Ukrainian army.

“Russian drone operators from the Varyag Independent Brigade of Unmanned Systems carried out a precision strike on the Kyivstar building in Ukraine,” TASS reported, noting that this company provides services to Ukraine’s military.
Authorities also reported that aerial bombs and X-39 missiles struck deployment sites and command posts for Ukrainian drones in Fiodorovka in the Kharkov region and in Zemlyanoye in the Sumy region.
“Russian Aerospace Forces crews carried out the strikes using FAB-500 500-kilogram guided aerial bombs equipped with universal planning and correction modules, as well as two LMUR Kh-39 long-range air-launched missiles,” TASS specified.

Regarding railway transportation, Russian forces used Geran-4 attack drones to strike locomotives and military trains in the Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Poltava, Nikolayev, and Odessa regions.
On Sunday, the Ukrainian railway company Ukrzaliznitsia confirmed that a Russian drone struck the locomotive of a train traveling from Kyiv to Warsaw, approximately two kilometers from the Polish border.
The crew of the train—which was carrying over 200 passengers—was warned of the threat in advance, and thanks to this, there were no injuries.
Regarding this military action, the Kremlin noted that the attack on the train took place on Ukrainian territory. “Our military personnel are carrying out their missions throughout the territory of Ukraine and will continue to do so,” stated Presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.
In the Monday’s war report, Russian authorities also confirmed that the Varyag Brigade used a Geran attack drone to strike a gas station in Kiev that provided service to the Ukrainian army. Russian forces also attacked a Ukrainian facility for assembling unmanned vessels with a drone in the town of Grigorovka.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Energy Ministry confirmed power outages in the Dnepropetrovsk, Sumy and Kharkov regions after energy infrastructure was damaged. Electricity service was also interrupted in Kherson, authorities acknowledged, adding that specialists are working to determine the cause of the power outage.
