The attack took place in the Beit Lahia area, located in the north of Gaza City and near positions where Zionist troops are stationed, controlling more than 60% of the Palestinian Strip.

The military action was carried out by a drone. Several more people were injured in the bombing, and there could have been people missing beneath the rubble, the WAFA news agency reported.

On Thursday, Israel attacked with artillery the areas east of Gaza City in the north, while Israeli navy ships opened fire in the waters off Khan Younis in the south.

In line with the usual justifications, the Zionist army claimed that the attack targeted a “military structure” near the yellow line, “from where the operation of terrorists had previously been identified.” Israeli authorities maintain that the father of the family, Mumin Abdel Rahman Ahmad, was a military member who had participated in fighting against Zionist forces.

Since October 2023, Israel has killed more than 73,669 people in Gaza. At least 1,358 of those Palestinians have been killed since the supposed entry into force of the cease-fire 11 months ago.

On Thursday, Israeli filmmakers Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor premiered the documentary “Naza” at the Venice Film Festival, where they accused their country of committing systemic crimes in the Palestinian enclave.

“I don’t know how many of you know this, but the killing of civilians in Gaza continues. Just this week, during this festival, a 7-year-old girl was killed with her father in their car. Israel bombed a school in Gaza. What we are showing is something that continues to happen and, for that reason, we feel the need to make that denial more difficult,” Abraham said.
