The warning comes amid escalating tensions in the Strait of Hormuz and an exchange of bombings reported overnight between Iranian and U.S. forces.
In response to foreign aggression, Iran attacked two U.S. vessels, eight oil tankers and about a dozen vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, as well as a U.S. base in Jordan.
“Mohebbi described the current war as unique in history, involving perception warfare, artificial intelligence, and direct strategic damage to the United States,” according to information released by FARS News.
“He listed Iran’s conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, including a complete U.S. withdrawal from the war, Israeli forces leaving Lebanon, the end of the siege on Yemen, the release of US$24 billion in frozen Iranian assets, and an end to interference in Iran’s nuclear and missile programs,” it added.

Iran Condemns U.S. Attacks on Its Oil Tankers
On Wednesday, the Iranian Foreign Affairs Ministry condemned the attack launched by the U.S. military against several Iranian oil tankers on the evening of Sept. 8, affirming that the Persian nation will not hesitate to exercise its inherent right to legitimate self-defense.
“The U.S. military assault on Iranian commercial vessels in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman viewed as a continuation of the U.S. military aggression, naval blockade, and economic warfare waged by the United States against Iran constitutes a flagrant violation of the UN Charter and international law,” the Iranian diplomacy stated.
It also emphasized that U.S. hostile acts against Iranian commercial vessels not only represent a dangerous escalation of tensions in the region but also pose a clear threat to regional and international peace and security.
“In response to U.S. hostile acts against Iranian oil tankers, the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran exercising their inherent right to legitimate self-defense delivered defensive strikes against U.S. military bases and facilities in Jordan (which continue to support U.S. military assaults against Iran) and targeted several hostile U.S. vessels.”
The Iranian Foreign Ministry concluded by emphasizing the responsibility of the United Nations Security Council and the United Nations secretary-general to take urgent action regarding the grave violations of international peace and security resulting from U.S. war on Iran.
