Screen shot of a broadcast interview with Milo Yiannopoulos on Piers Morgan Live

Milo Yiannopoulos is a right-wing agitator who was once so controversial that the American right cancelled him. Although he’s never regained the notoriety he enjoyed in the 2010s, he has survived on the fringes of online media. The Brit also enjoyed living in America until the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deported him.

Now, Yiannopoulos is doing a tour, explaining how bad Donald Trump and his ICE goons truly are. The response from many has been ‘we know‘:

The most consistent theme of conservatism is being completely unable/unwilling to understand how a thing is bad until it happens to you. https://t.co/wuCcrYUrEG

Milo Yiannopoulos’ controversial reputation

Yiannopoulos rose to infamy as a journalist who covered the sexist ‘Gamergate’ movement for Breitbart NewsBuzzFeed would later expose Yiannopoulos for having links to Neo-Nazis, but it wasn’t this which would lead to his cancellation on the right.

In 2017, the Canary reported:

Milo Yiannopoulos is a far-right troll who was banned from Twitter for encouraging abuse. He has famously made many statements which are both objectionable and wrong. He is also a writer for Breitbart, the site formerly headed by Donald Trump’s chief strategist Steve Bannon. But his latest controversy looks set to be his biggest yet.

Yiannopoulos has been asked to be a guest speaker for The American Conservative Union. And as a result, many people are now learning about statements Yiannopoulos has made which seem to support statutory rape.

The statements in question were made in a Joe Rogan podcast, in which Yiannopoulos asked:

So you’re saying you’ve never seen a 15-year-old girl, at any point in your life, that you thought was hot?

He also admitted to attending Hollywood parties where:

There was a lot of drugs, and a lot of…twinks taking drugs and having unsafe sex with older men. And some of these boys were very young.

Yiannopoulos additionally said:

The law is probably about right…but there are certainly people who are capable of giving consent at a younger age: I certainly consider myself to be one of them…people who are sexually active younger…I think it particularly happens in the gay world, by the way…

This is one of the reasons I hate the left…they have this sort of stupid…arbitrary and oppressive idea of consent, which totally destroys the understanding that many of us have of the complexities and subtleties and complicated nature of many relationships.

It’s notable that Yiannopoulos was able to return to some sort of right-wing media career despite all this — notable but not surprising. After all, Epstein-linked Donald Trump is the president.

‘LOOMERED’

Post-cancellation, Yiannopoulos would:

One of the right-wingers he fell out with was Laura Loomer, a close confidant of President Trump. This feud involved Yiannopoulos making accusations like the following:

Milo said Loomer came into her intern’s room nightly & loudly raped him, & while he “used to believe using ‘power imbalance’ to sexually exploit people was fake, that’s actually really what happened in this case” bc the intern, a Brazilian national, was terrified to say no https://t.co/KNaODvOv3E

Loomer would later take credit for getting Yiannopoulos deported:

LOOMERED

Milo Yiannopoulos is in ICE custody after I exposed his illegal alien lifestyle.

Marjorie Traitor Greene hired Milo to work as her “intern” where he produced her podcast, wrote her book and lived at her house in Rome, Georgia before she sold it. @mtgreenee https://t.co/tDWCiB6eL5 pic.twitter.com/3wrZBgrEhA

Loomer has continued to beef with Yiannopoulos since the deportation:

Milo is lying.

I reached out to sources at DHS and they told me his claim that multiple ICE agents walked off the job because they didn’t want to detain him is completely fabricated.

I look forward to @DHSgov and @ICEgov releasing the body cam footage so everyone can see what… https://t.co/fNy9kTrnFj

Clearly, his ability to get under her skin remains undiminished:

“I think there’s something very seriously wrong with her… I don’t think she’s well.”

Milo Yiannopoulos doesn’t hold back on his thoughts on Laura Loomer following his deportation from the US.

Milo Yiannopoulos found ICE arrest ‘degrading’

To give you an idea of how vile Yiannopoulos is, we direct you to comments he made in 2025 — comments which were about ICE operations no less:

Interesting. https://t.co/X8iE3QaCSn pic.twitter.com/Qj8n5jA071

— j aubrey 🤠 (@jaubreyYT) September 1, 2026

Now, Yiannopoulos is feigning ignorance when it comes to what ICE were up to:

Idiot. Liar. Racist. https://t.co/wv9JREIotb

— Mehdi Hasan (@mehdirhasan) September 1, 2026

Yiannopoulos has remained true to his roots, anyway, admitting he remains a committed misogynist:

Milo Yiannopoulos just admitted that he’s a misogynist and that he does “hate women a bit.”

He blames his mum and his sexuality for his hatred of women.

"I struggle like mustering affection for women. Probably a lot to do with my mother. Probably lot to do with being homosexual… pic.twitter.com/E72AEFfAt3

Liar, liar

Many are noting that right-wingers are often incapable of understanding that something is bad until it happens to them. This is certainly true when it comes to voters, but we don’t think it’s true of Yiannopoulos.

What we’re seeing with him is clearly an attempt to pivot his media career now that he’s dead to the MAGA movement. He’s done it before and he’ll do it again.

And Piers Morgan will be more than happy to facilitate him.
