Israeli national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has posted an AI video of Palestinians being taken single-file into a concentration camp. The video shows Ben-Gvir looking up at a projection in the sky reading “Jewish power” and popping thought bubbles representing the prisoners’ dreams. He then remotely controls a conveyor belt leading the men into a prison from which they re-emerge with heads down, thinner than they were before and crying. On Sunday, the far-right minister also posted a real video of himself telling female Palestinian captives that the days of “good conditions” are over. In March, Ben-Gvir oversaw the creation of a new law that makes the death penalty the default for Palestinians, but not Israelis, convicted of so-called ‘terror attacks’.
