They are expected to discuss Ukraine, the Middle East and other regional issues.
On Friday, Yuri Ushakov, the Kremlin’s international policy adviser, confirmed that the leaders of Russia, China, Iran, Turkey and India will participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, which will be held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, next week.

On Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping will hold a meeting to discuss issues of mutual interest, including the Power of Siberia-2 gas pipeline project.
“It will be a very important meeting. The second between the two leaders this year,” Ushakov said, adding that Putin will also meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi that same day.
On Tuesday, at the conclusion of the SCO summit, the Russian leader will meet with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. “Without a doubt, the Middle East will be one of the key issues,” the Kremlin adviser mentioned.

With Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Putin will discuss matters related to the situation in the Black Sea and the conflict in Ukraine.
During the meeting, the SCO countries will sign about 20 agreements and issue a declaration in Bishkek, where representatives of other observer or invited countries such as Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Mongolia, Egypt, Laos, Vietnam, and Turkmenistan will also attend.
“Today, the SCO is one of the largest and most authoritative regional alliances. It is one of the centers of the emerging multipolar world,” Ushakov pointed out.
Putin will also hold meetings with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, with whom he will discuss the Caucasian country’s plans to join the European Union.
The Kremlin adviser also confirmed that Putin will attend the BRICS summit, which will be held Sept. 12-13 in New Delhi.
