James English guilty of abuse

On 25 August, Scottish podcaster James English was found guilty of subjecting a former partner to domestic abuse. In the aftermath, several associates of English have drawn criticism for not condemning him. Even worse than those who have stayed silent, though, are those who have come out to support English:

“I know how evil females are.”

The mask slipped with that little neo-Nazi.

These lot never cared about protecting women and girls https://t.co/pcG5RKLD6j

James English found guilty

English is the host of the Anything Goes podcast, which describes itself as follows:

The Anything Goes Podcast Show is a place you’ll find people talking about their real-life stories and experiences. Hosted by James English, guests include reformed gangsters, comedians, actors, footballers, porn stars, politicians and many more who all have a story to tell. Expect shocking stories about murder, crime, depression, addictions and suicide, with some laughs along the way with sagas of sex, love and comedy.

Regarding his conviction, the BBC reported:

James English, 43, repeatedly attacked the woman – a model and influencer – at a flat in Glasgow and elsewhere between July 2022 and November 2023.

Additionally:

The single charge included a total of 19 allegations, with six proven.

The man defending English is Ryan Ferguson, who we’ve reported on before:

🚨 BREAKING 🚨 Football hooligan and racist far-right extremist Ryan Ferguson has ALREADY been arrested in Manchester ahead of the Britain First rally. Boo boo. Yallah yallah bye bye @ani_says1 pic.twitter.com/zf7uQJNKBi

Ferguson was recently accused of trying to intimidate women and children:

Neo-Nazi Ryan Ferguson not so much the big man when he comes up against some good old fashioned policing. Watch him whimper as he’s unceremoniously moved away from his attempt to intimidate two women and a small child. 😂 pic.twitter.com/R6fui7qBIk

In the clip above, Ferguson says:

What do I think of James English? Listen, I’m not going to sit here and slag him off. Because I know how evil females are and what females can lie about. Accusations. I’m not in a position to make a comment on that. I don’t think it’s what the mainstream media are making out in the slightest. So, who knows?

Silence

Many prominent figures on the far-right have remained silent on English, prompting criticism like the following:

Tommy Robinson still hasn’t called out his mate James English, who has been found guilty of battering his pregnant ex-partner, and that tells you everything you need to know about him.

He doesn’t care about protecting women and girls. He just uses survivors’ trauma to push…

The British far-right claim that migrants are a danger to women while simultaneously presenting a danger to women. And it’s important to call them out on this.
