Zionist forces evicted UNRWA from its last center in East Jerusalem.
On Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel will act against the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) “with all means at its disposal.”

Previously, Zionist authorities occupied UNRWA’s last center in East Jerusalem. Netanyahu acknowledged the eviction from the UNRWA center was carried out under his instructions.
To justify this action against the multilateral humanitarian agency, the Israeli state maintains that UNRWA workers were involved in Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, attack.
The UNRWA center seized is the Kalandia Training Center (KTC), which is located next to Ramallah, the administrative capital of the West Bank, in a Jerusalem neighborhood situated on the other side of Israel’s separation wall.

Four armed vehicles and more than 50 members of the Israeli occupation forces entered the United Nations facility while 20 of its workers were inside.
The evacuation comes months after the Israeli Parliament adopted an unprecedented decision that clashes with international law, stripping UNRWA of its immunity, ordering the expropriation of its premises in East Jerusalem, and cutting off its supplies.
“The entry of armed security forces into a UN facility, without the authorization or consent of the United Nations, is unacceptable,” UNRWA said, recalling that the vocational training center has provided services to Palestinian refugees for more than seven decades.
Allegedly, in the area of the seized UNRWA center, Israel will invest 11.5 million euros to build schools, a mosque, sports spaces, and health facilities “for the benefit of the local community.”

The Israeli Foreign Ministry said the complex will be built on land owned by the Jewish National Fund since 1937, which has ceded the space to the Jerusalem Municipality, under Israeli governance.
In response, UNRWA argues that the Jordanian government ceded the land to it in 1952 — when Jordan administered East Jerusalem — for the creation of the Kalandia Training Center.
During the eviction of the UNRWA center, Israel’s National Security Minister, the extremist Jewish and anti-Arab Itamar Ben Gvir, was present. He described the action as revenge for the alleged participation of UNRWA employees in Gaza in the 2023 attacks.
In October 2025, however, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) concluded that Israel had not proven the alleged links between UNRWA and Hamas, nor the organization’s alleged lack of neutrality.
